Lucy // 6 & 7 months

Over half a year!  My goodness, I just can't believe it.  Crazy hair don't care:

Milestones and Firsts: Lucy is sitting up almost completely on her own!  One of my favorite firsts is that she has begun to lift her arms up when we reach to pick her up.  So sweet!  She has begun a few solids: bananas and sweet potatoes.  She is also sleeping through the night the majority of the time!!!
Favorite Things: Lucy is loving bouncing!  She goes to town in her bouncer and when you hold her up she will go crazy bending her legs.

Some other favorite things:

1. Muslin Swaddle Blankets // Even though Lucy is no longer swaddled, we still use these blankets all the time.  The lightweight and breathable fabric makes these a perfect summer blanket.  They are also perfect for laying down for baby to be able to play anywhere or to cover up a stroller when out and about if you have a sleeping baby.

2. Teething Necklace // I know I just posted about a teething necklace recently but it is seriously one of Lucy's favorite things.  This is turning into my go to gift for new mamas!

3. Alice in Wonderland // I love reading to Lucy and she loves looking at the bright colors and illustrations.  I love sharing with her some of my favorite classics.  Right now if you buy 9 books from Bubble Belly, they will give you the 10th book free or donate it to a child in need.

4. Maty's Baby Chest Rub // We first discovered this chest rub when Lucy had her first cold months ago but with eucalyptus, lavender, and chamomile it makes a calming essential oil rub before bed.  It smells amazing and has some great things for baby's skin like coconut oil and shea butter!

5. Babyganics Teething Gel Pods & Hyland's Teething Tablets // We are all about helping soothe Lucy's sore gums from teething.  I love this Babyganics Teething Gel.  It is made from all plant based ingredients and is benzocaine free.  It comes in individual pods which is great for on the go. I do wish they made it in a tube as well.  When teething pain keeps Lucy awake, Hyland's Teething Tablets have worked wonders.  They instantly dissolve in Lucy's mouth and provide instant relief.  These are also homeopathic.

Least Favorite Things:  When we leave a room.  Lucy has begun to get upset if one of us walks out of her vision.  I can't lie, it's a little flattering to know she likes us around :).  Tummy time is another least favorite thing.  She used to love it but can't stand it now.  Looks like she has little interest in trying to crawl at the moment.
Signature Moves: Blowing raspberries and grabbing at anything and everything in sight.  You name it, she's going after it.  Especially the one thing you don't want her to get, of course!

I just love being her mama!  Excited for an entire summer with this munchkin!
