Eastern Caribbean Cruise

We just got back from a lovely 7 day cruise full of fun and relaxation.  My parents so graciously invited us to join them and we were thrilled to get away for a little bit.  Something about being unplugged from the world for a week and just being able to spend time with family was good for the soul.  We cruised to the Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and a private Island in the Bahamas called Half Moon Cay.  I was honestly terrified to take Lucy on this trip, but she did better than I expected!  She made friends with everyone, I swear we talked to ever other guest on the ship.  She danced and clapped constantly with music playing everywhere.  Napping was a bit of a struggle as she usually naps in her crib in her room alone and we couldn't leave her alone in the cruise cabin, but we made do.  Lots of long walks for a stroller snooze.  I almost finished a book and was able to get some lounging time in the sun, something I dearly missed this summer.

We came home to two precious baby boys being born to two of our closest friends!  The perfect ending to our little getaway.  Excited for just a two day work week ahead as Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  Have a lovely Sunday evening friends!
